Welcome to Blackheath Quakers
Everyone is welcome to come to our Quaker meeting, no matter what their background.
Our values, which we call our Quaker testimonies, are peace, equality, truth and integrity, sustainability and care for our environment, and living simply. We try to live by these values, while also recognising that doing so presents challenges for all of us.
Quaker meetings are held in the quiet to deepen our awareness and find the inward source of our strength.
Meetings for worship
The meeting house in Lawn Terrace is open for Sunday morning Meeting for Worship from 10.30 to 11.30.
We have a parallel online Meetings for Worship from 10.30 to 11.30 on Sunday mornings. New visitors are welcome.
On Wednesday evenings, there is a 30 minute Meeting for Worship from 20.00 to 20.30.
Email us at blackheathquakers@gmail.com for more information and login details.
Some of us who are unable to come to online meetings, or choose not to, sit quietly by ourselves at these times, prayerfully aware that Friends from our local meetings and across the country are doing the same.
Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre has
online meetings for worship several times a week that are open to all.
London Friends Together meet on Zoom on second Tuesdays of the month.
