Children and young people's meeting

Children and young people are an integral part of our Meeting in Blackheath. Each Sunday we offer a range of age-appropriate activities in the children’s room downstairs run by two DBS-checked adults from the Meeting. Our aim is to pass on Quaker values, have fun and engender a feeling of belonging. The children and young people join the meeting for worship upstairs for the last five minutes or so.

Older children are encouraged to join us in meeting for worship and they may also take part in regional and national activities (external site).

It's helpful but not necessary to know ahead if you are coming with children.

See the links page for other Quaker activities for children and young people.
