Welcome to Blackheath Quakers

Everyone is welcome to come to our Quaker meeting, no matter what their background.

Our values, which we call our Quaker testimonies, are peace, equality, truth and integrity, sustainability and care for our environment, and living simply.  We try to live by these values, while also recognising that doing so presents challenges for all of us.

Quaker meetings are held in the quiet to deepen our awareness and find the inward source of our strength.

You can find out more about us here, where you can also watch our video.

The meeting house is open

The meeting house in Lawn Terrace is open for Sunday morning Meeting for Worship from 10.30 to 11.30. Places are currently limited, so email us at blackheathquakers@gmail.com if you wish to attend. We continue to observe other COVID precautions.

Our online Meetings for Worship continue from 10.30 to 11.30 on Sunday in parallel and also on Wednesday evenings from 19.30 to 20.00 We welcome enquirers and visitors.  Please email us for login details.

Some of us who are unable to come to online meetings, or choose not to, sit quietly by ourselves at these times, prayerfully aware that Friends from our local meetings and across the country are doing the same.

Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre has online meetings for worship several times a week that are open to all.
